Specialists
Attorneys become specialized in an area of law by meeting four
specific criteria in addition to practice area specific
requirements. You can learn more about Certified Specialists by
visiting the State Bar of Arizona.
- Attorneys must be admitted to practice law for at least 5
years.
- Attorneys must be admitted to the State Bar of Arizona for 2
years immediately preceding submission of application.
- Attorney must devote at least 50% of a full time practice to
area of specialization.
- Attorney must be substantially involved in the specialty area
for 4 of the 6 years immediately preceding submission of the
application.
